Assessment and profiling

Paramount Education New Arrival Consultants offer their services to schools to work with individual learners. These services include advising on approaching the initial assessment, profiling, school preparedness and prior learning experiences. Consultants also assist with the induction and inclusion of New Arrivals and help identify barriers to learning and the consequences of their learning experience for their future education in the UK. Full reports will be available, with a full profile and portfolio on the assessments and activities used.

Training and interactive workshops with parents in schools

Course Code: PTS/as

Half day or 2-hour discussions and workshops with the parents of New Arrivals cover the induction and inclusion process, discussion of school subjects, rules and expectations for their children. Prior development work will include building up a profile of the school, policies, rules and regulations and life in UK schools and in particular their school. Dealing with pupil mobility and the consequences on the education of their children.

Social inclusion: Eat and meet

A global project where music food and cultures meet. This is an event where the parents and children in the school make it possible for social inclusion to take place, through introducing their lifestyles, cultural differences and an understanding of each other, creating tolerance and mutual respect.
